Aromatic amines and their derivatives are of significant importance in organic chemistry, and play an important role as intermediates for agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, conducting polymers and dyes in the chemical industry.Palladium-catalyzed C-N cross-coupling reactions have been evolved into a versatile and synthetically attractive technique for targeting pharmaceutically useful intermediates. At present, notable ligands, such as t-Bu3P,indenyl-phosphines,Beller's PAP,Buchwald's biaryl phosphines,Hartwig's Q-Phos and CyPF-t-Bu,Verkade's amino phosphine and Kwong's 2-indolylaryl phosphine provide excellent catalytic activity for the cross-coupling of aryl halides(especially aryl chlorides),aryl mesylate or arenesulfonate.Although a-variety of ligands have been synthesized, the rapid of structurally diverse ligand systems via simple synthetic methods is still important for the development of versatile catalysts for numerous applications of coupling reactions.Studies on the synthesis, structure characterization and Buchwald-Hartwig reaction of the two highly efficient phosphine ligands and a novel complex were carried out.The main results are as follows:(?)1.Two highly efficient phosphine ligands and a novel complex, which are based on indenyl were synthetized(figure 1).The structure of these novel compounds were characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR,31P NMR and elemental analysis. The structures of ligand L2 and complex 7 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction techniques.2.Studies on the Palladium-catalyzed amination reaction of the novel ligands and complex were carried out.The experimental results showed that indenyl-phosphine ligand L1 can effectively catalyze Buchwald-Hartwig reaction.Couplings of an electronically diverse array of aryl halides with amines are realized in good to excellent yields.
