The new kind of RAFT agents with alkynyl and azide terminal functional groups were designed and synthesized.And use one of them(RAFT-B)in free radical polymerization of styrene in the system to extract the polymer at different reaction times,the molecular weight was determined by gel permeation chromatography(GPC),and acknowledge the change of the molecular weight with change of time.Using the functional group which on the polymer get various block copolymer though chemical-click reaction.At the other hand,take advantage of RAFT-B to polymeriz the Imidazole ionic liquids and use this polymer adsorbed on the gold nano-particles The resulting polymers were characterized by 1H-NMR and IR,the nano-particles characterized by TEM.The results show that the design and synthesis of novel reagents effective RAFT controlled polymerization of styrene monomer,the polymer is formed with a distinct functional group by an azide and alkyne functional groups can be synthesized by a variety of block copolymers.Meanwhile,RAFT-B can be successful polymerization imidazole ionic liquid monomer.The TEM show form composite materials.
