Silicone-polyether copolymer,otherwise known as polyether modified polysiloxane,is a class of non-ionic organsilicone surfactant.It has many advantages,such as high thermal stability,excellent wetting performance,low surface tension,non-toxic,tasteless,strong acid and alkali resistance,so it is widely used in foam stabilizer,antifogging agent,leveling agent,cosmetic additive,paper softening agents and fabric finishing agent.This paper is about Si-C silicone-polyether copolymer.It used as foam stabilizer in low resiliency polyurethane foam.Low resiliency polyurethane foam also known as memory foam.The velocity of shape recovery is very slow when the external force is removed.It has excellent sound absorption and vibration absorption properties,so it is widely used in many areas.Foam stabilizer is one of the most essential raw materials of low resiliency polyurethane foam.It is small damage but plays a vital role.The effect of foam stabilizer included emulsification,nucleation,stabilizing bubbles and foam openings.A series of work has been done to get the best foam stabilizer used in low resiliency polyurethane foam.Firstly,polyhydridosiloxane polymer was synthesized by polymerizat ion.The raw materials are hexamethyldisiloxane(MM),octamethylcyclotet rasiloxane(D4)and MHX-1107.A novel NIR method for testing the Si-H content in polyhydridosiloxane polymer was developed.The predictive model based on TQ analyst 8.4 as model calibration software,partial le ast squares(PLS)method as calibration method,first-order difference calc ulation as spectrum method.Compared with traditional test method,NIR has the advantages of good correlation value,low relative error,easy o peration,low speed of analysis and pollution-free.The development of t esting the Si-H content by NIR provides a green and efficient analysis way for the production and research of polyhydridosiloxane polymer ind ustry.Secondly,a series of silicone-polyether copolymer was prepared by hydrosilation from the polyhydridosiloxane polymer and the allyl polyether in the absence of solvent.Reaction time,reaction temperature,the ratio of allyl polyether to polyhydridosiloxane polymer and the dosage of catalyst were studied.The results show that,when the time is 2 hours,the temperature is 110 ?,the dosage of catalyst is 7.5ppm,the ratio of allyl polyether to polyhydridosiloxane polymer is 1.4:1,we can get high Si-H conversion silicone-polyether copolymer and low energy consumption.Compared with solvent method,non-solvent is easy to operate because of eliminating the solvent removal operation.Finally,the silicone-polyether copolymer is used as foam stabilizer.The amount of foam stabilizer,the number of dimethyl siloxane chain,the number of grafted polyether chain,the ratio of raw materials were studied.The results show that,the amount and structure of the foam stabilizer could have a significant effect on the bubble size and foam air flows.When the dosage of the foam stabilizer was 0.4%,the number of the dimethyl siloxane chain was 50,the number of polyether chain is 7,the ratio of raw materials is 1.4:1,the polyether average molecular weight is 2571,the low resiliency polyurethane foam has fine,uniform bubbles and high air flows.Compared with the foreign foam stabilizers,low resiliency polyurethane foam made by homemade foam stabilizer has similar mechanical properties,higher density and more excellent comfort.
