Spray drying and airflow drying are two most important parts in FCC catalyst preparation,which play a decisive role in the quality of the catalyst.Spray drying process has a direct affect on particle size distribution and sphericity of the FCC catalyst,and air drying affects the LOI(Loss on Ignition)of the product directly.Spray drying and airflow drying process will produce high-temperature exhaust gas,which has a large amount of particulate matter and heat.If the gas was discharged directly,it will result in resource squander and environment pollution.Regarding the issues above,based on systematical technique investigation,this paper adopted rurbulent stamping venturi washing technology to collect and reuse the particulate matter produced by spray drying was confirmed.This paper also researched if reusing the particulate matter from spray drying waste gas will influence the quality of the catalyst.The results showed that reusing the particulate matter from spray drying waste gas can improve the yield of the catalyst device but will not influence the quality of the catalyst.Secondly,through improving the technic of airflow drying waste gas treatment process,using the technology of bag-type strainer with first-level fast cooling and second-level absorption to collect the particulate matter was confirmed.After collected,the particulate matter can be reused to the manufacturing device directly to improve the yield of the catalyst device.Thirdly,the factors influencing the thermal efficiency of the spray dryer was studied to make the program of reusing the waste heat from the spray drying exhaust gas.The results showed that reusing certain percentage spray drying exhaust gas to the air heating furnace,we can save energy with reducing natural gas consumption of spray drying furnace by 22 percentage and having no influence on the particle size distribution of the catalyst.At last,according to the characteristics of airflow drying waste gas,the program of reusing the waste heat from airflow drying exhaust gas.The results showed that through reusing the waste heat to heat the acidic water which was used as washing water after warmed,the waste gas can be collected for reusing and the performance of the catalyst will not be influenced.By this way,do not use the steam in the catalyst production process was achieved and the production cost was reduced.
