Propionaldehyde is an important solvents,organic raw materials and intermediates,which is widely used in pharmaceutical,paint,plastic,spices,rubber,food,feed and other industries.The production of propionaldehyde is relatively low owing to the high cost for production and the high price of rhodium catalysts,which limits the products processing with propionaldehyde,more importantly this disadvantage has affected the development of downstream products.With the development of national economy and chemical industries,the demand for propional dehyde and propionic acid and its derivatives will be larger and larger.Optimizing the technology of propionaldehyde has theoretical and practical significance for promoting enterprise product and broadening product chain.Based on shandong hualu-hengsheng chemical CO,its production needs,economic factors,the similarity of propanal with butyl aldehyde in production technology and the existing annual output of 200000 tons of butyl octyl alcohal device,a acomplete set of carbonyl synthesis propanal ethylene production process was put forward in this paper.At the same time,the control scheme of the existing equipment was raised to improve the production and meet the production requirements.On the basis of the optimization for the production process,this paper carried the fundamental experimental verification of the feasibility.The key factor for the stability and the efficiency in the butyl aldehyde production device is the control of rhodium catalyst.After investigating the relevant parameter and the influence factor in rhodium catalyst system,small-scale experiment was carried out considering several elements including the reaction temperature,reaction pressure,the partial pressure of ethylene,CO,H2,and the concentration of the rhodium catalyst.Through the exploration of rhodium catalyst system to confirm each factors effects on the reaction conversion of raw materials ethylene,the selectivity for propional dehyde and the stability of the catalyst technology,and finally the key control indicators and the catalyst system basic composition range in the carbonyl synthesis propanal ethylene production process were determined.The specific parameters were shown as follow:reaction temperature:90±5?,reaction pressure:1.3±0.05MPa,molar ratio of ethylene,CO,H2:1:1:1.08,the concentration of rhodium catalyst:95±10ppm.On this basis,confirm the key indicators in the catalytic system test which can optimize the technology of propional dehyde production and improve the production of propyl aldehyde.After considering the economic benefit and making full use of the existing equipment,this paper design the perfect carbonyl synthesis propanal ethylene production process relying on the enterprise industry chain extension,high value-added fine chemical products development,and cultivation of new economic growth point of enterprise,which has a good reference to other companies that have similar industrial structure.
