Polyethylene has excellent mechanical properties,chemical resistance and other properties.The heat resistance and organic solvent resistance of polyethylene are deficiency.This paper blended nylon 6,nylon 66,talc,calcium carbonate and polyethylene together.This would increase the heat resistance,solvent resistance of polyethylene.This paper modified HDPE with PA6,PA66,talc,calcium carbonate.Melt extrusion to prepare HDPE/PA6/HDPE-g-MAH(POE-g-MAH),HDPE/PA66/POE-g-MAH,HDPE/PA6/POE-g-MAH/talc(calcium carbonate)blends.We have studied the influence of the compatilizer type,the compatilizer content,the PA6 content,the PA66 content,the talc content and the calcium carbonate content on the mechanical properties,heat resistance,solvent resistance and the morphological structure.The experimental result indicated that:(1)The effect of increase compatibility of POE-g-MAH is better than HDPE-g-MAH.(2)When the content of nylon 6 is no more than 50%,the elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy decreases with the increase of PA6 content.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of PA6 content.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of PA6 content.The degree of swelling of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of PA6 content.When HDPE:PA6:POE-g-MAH= 100:70:5,the elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend is 13.72%.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy is 26.4MPa.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy is 130.1 ?.The degree of swelling of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy 1.92%.(3)When the content of nylon 6 is more than 50%,the elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of HDPE content.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of HDPE content.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of HDPE content.(4)When HDPE:PA66= 100:70,we change the content of POE-g-MAH and HDPE-g-MAH.The elongation at break of HDPE/PA66 blend alloy increases with the increase of compatilizer content.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA66 blend alloy decreases with the increase of compatilizer content.The degree of swelling of HDPE/PA66 blend alloy doesn't have obviously change with the increase of compatilizer content.When HDPE:PA66:POE-g-MAH= 100:70:20,the elongation at break of HDPE/PA66 blend is 42.36%.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA66 blend alloy is 108.1 ?.The degree of swelling of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy 1.48%.(5)We mix talc in to HDPE/PA6 blend alloy.The elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy decreases with the increase of talc content.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy decreases with the increase of talc content.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of talc content.When HDPE:PA6:POE-g-MAH:Talc=100:70:20:5,the elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend is 23.95%.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy is 22.95MPa.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy is 120.13 ?.(6)We mix calcium carbonate in to HDPE/PA6 blend alloy.The elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy decreases with the increase of calcium carbonate content.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy decreases with the increase of calcium carbonate content.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy increases with the increase of calcium carbonate content.When HDPE:PA6:POE-g-MAH:Calcium carbonate =100:70:20:5,the elongation at break of HDPE/PA6 blend is 16.95%.The breaking strength of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy is 20.8MPa.The vicat softening temperature of HDPE/PA6 blend alloy is 126.36 ?.
