Ultrasonic friction stir welding is based on friction stir welding,and at the same time,an additional ultrasonic longitudinal vibration is added to the stirring head.It is designed to use the small axial displacement with high frequency to upsetting the extrusion effect of friction stir weld and use the impulsive force with high frequency to improving the upsetting force of stir head.This processing method has good directivity,improving energy efficiency in line with the current theme.The horn is responsible for changing the amplitude of the vibration transducer issued in ultrasonic friction stir welding.Ultrasonic horn(ultrasonic horn)is changing with the ultrasonic transducer ultrasonic vibration amplitude of functional components.Its role is changing the amplitude of the transducer(typically increase),improving the vibration speed ratio,:increasing efficiency,improving the mechanical quality factor,strengthening heat resistance,expanding adaptation temperature range and extending the life of the transducer.By installing an ultrasonic transducer horn(ultrasonic horn)is to adjust the load match and the ultrasonic transducer between the tool head,the resonance impedance is reduced,so that the resonance frequencies of the electro-acoustic conversion efficiency is improved,effective reducing the ultrasonic transducer of heat,increase the life.The study found when the existing ultrasonic horn is in the case of the force,it is easy to prone to stress concentration which greatly reduces the stress concentration horn life..In order to improve the structure of the horn,reduce the value of stress concentration.Firstly,according to the theory of ultrasonic horn,we build the mathematical model of new ultrasonic horn.According to the operating parameters of the horn in the practical work and the mathematical model of new ultrasonic horn,we build the geometry of new ultrasonic horn.Secondly,establish a force of ultrasonic horn mathematical model based on the work of the mixing head the force selecting the representative material and getting to the relationship between material parameters and temperature,which can make us get the force parameter.Finally,using the finite element software ANSYS to establish new forms of ltrasonic horn of the mechanical analysis.
