Oil-Mist Lubrication is the kind of technology which using external energetic to change the state of the medium,and then oil mist mixed with the air.The mixture is pushed to the lubricated point by the energy of itself.People will use lubricating oil as lubricating medium,which including mineral oil and synthetic oil.However lubricating oil can not be used in some extreme environments.We chouse grease as the research object in this study.Comparing with the lubricating oil,grease have more advantages,such as the oil have the effect of Sealing and it could reduce the noise and vibration.Therefore the study of the atomization characteristics of grease has important theoretical and practical significance.Take the atomization characteristics of grease as the research object to tell the influence of other factors and provide theoretical reference for selecting grease and nozzle in industrial environment.We take no gas spraying as a reference becasuse of lacking knowledge of grease lubrication system.Taking the atomization characteristic of lubricating oilas a reference to research grease'.After consulting the above questions,the purpose,content and method of this paper are presented.Firstly,summarize the knowledge of the atomization mechanism,the breaking of liquid drop and liquid membrane.And expounded the scope of application of each interpretation and its limitations.And then described the measurement of he atomization characteristics,which lays the foundation for the design and experiment of the system.Secondly build experimental platform and do experiment so as to determine the influence of viscosity and nozzle section on atomization characteristics.We could have following conclusions:(1)Using the same nozzle,when using different grease to spray atomization,due to the difference of the viscosity of the grease makes atomization angle different.In general,the spray angle decreases with the increase of viscosity.Finally,due to the nozzle limit,the atomization angle will not increase any more.The atomization granularity is not invariable when using the same kind of nozzle to spray different kinds of grease.The overall trend is always with the increase of viscosity,atomization granularity first become big and then small.(2)Using the same grease,when different nozzles are used to spray atomization.because of the different nozzle section,the atomizing angle is different.At the same time,different nozzles will produce different in atomization granularity.It could be say that the atomization granularity is related to the section of the nozzle.
