Polymer materials not only bring social progress and people's life convenient but also bring immeasurable damage to survival environment. With the progress of science and technology, the concept of "sustainable development" and "green development" seriously been considered gradually.Aliphatic polyesters such as PLA,PCL and their copolymers were widely used in the biological, medical, materials and drug carrier because of they have biocompatibility, biodegradable property, permeability and reproducibility.Recent years a large number of reports from home and abroad showed that metal complexes can effectively initiate the ROP(ring-opening polymerization)of cyclic esters and is a kind of more ideal method. In this work a series of [N,O] bidentate metal complexes such as Zn,Al were synthesized and characterized by X-ray Crystal Structure Determination,NMR and elemental analysis, their application in the ring opening homo-and copolymerization of ?-CL and LA.The main content can be divided 3 parts as follows:Chapter 1.This chapter describes the development of aliphatic polyesters such as PLA,PCL and polymerization mechanism of ?-CL/LA,especially the metal catalysts from home and abroad, including Zn,Mg and Al.Chapter 2.This chapter describes a series of [N,O] bidentate Zn complexes have been synthesized and characterized. In addition,we studied their application in the ring opening homo-and copolymerization of ?-CL and LA.Chapter 3.This chapter describes a series of [N,O] bidentate Al complexes have been synthesized in different conditions and characterized. In different conditions influence on the structure of aluminum complexes, then we studied their application in the ring opening and polymerization ?-CL.
