In this paper,2-styryl-8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives were obtained by introducing different substituents.And we discussed their fluorescent properties when these compounds connected with electron-withdrawing groups or electron-donating groups.Furthermore,we preliminary studied the probes application based on 2-styryl-8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives in metal ion detection.This thesis can be divided into five chapters:In chapter 1,it introduces the importance of metal zinc for human growth,the application advantages of 8-hydroxyl-quinoline compounds,the generation of fluorescence,the influence factors of fluorescence and luminescence mechanism of the fluorescence probe.And then it describes the application fields and research progress of 8-hydroxyl-quinoline derivatives.The third part is my paper's design ideas and main content.In chapter 2,it is mainly about the experimental part.Six 8-hydroxyl-quinoline derivatives were got by two steps and their structure was characterized by 1H NMR,13 C NMR and MS.In chapter 3,it is the spectroscopy tests part.Six 2-styryl-8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives coordinated with metal ions Zn2+ and Cd2+,and their complexes' fluorescence spectroscopy and ultraviolet spectrum were tested.The main tests include the water content in the solvent,reaction time,metal ion concentration and etc.Comparing these compounds' maximum fluorescence emission wavelength,we explored the regulation of these compounds' fluorescent properties.The conclusion shows: when the compounds are connected with electron-withdrawing groups,the maximum fluorescence emission wavelength will take place red-shift.On the other hand,when the compounds are connected with electronic-donating groups,the maximum fluorescence emission wavelength will have a tendency to blue-shift.Last but not least,fluorescence spectroscopy and ultraviolet spectrum of six 2-styryl-8-hydroxyquinoline derivatives were tested.And the derivatives' electronic effect situation is the same with their complexes'.In chapter 4,it is the 2-(4-methyl-diphenylvinyl)-8-hydroxyquinoline cell imaging experiment.After adding the probe in the He La cells,a weak green fluorescence shows.However,after adding the probe and the metal zinc ions in the cells,yellow fluorescence can be observed.In chapter 5,it is summary of this thesis.In this paper,the results shows that the solvent(external environment),substituent(molecular structure)both had influence to the molecular electron cloud density.Probes coordinated with zinc ion and cadmium ion not only could change the density of electron cloud,but also could improve the molecular conjugate degree,so that the maximum fluorescent emission wavelength took place red-shift.
