The rapid development of science and technology has led to the demand for energy and the rapid decline of traditional non renewable energy sources has aroused the thinking of the global energy shortage.Energy saving and energy efficiency improving have become a breakthrough in the current urgent situation,which make the study of phase change material microcapsules become a hot issue of social development.At present,the published literature focused on preparation of polystyrene microcapsules such as paraffin wax,octadecane,butyl stearate and stearic acid.The transition point of butyl stearate is 20? and the enthalpy value is 140 J/g;the transition point of octadecane is 28? and the enthalpy value is 240 J/g.However,this kind of phase change material is expensive,whose high production costs limit its industrialization process.thus the price of factor restrict the practical application of this kind of phase change material.Alkane alcohol is a kind of phase change material with high latent heat of phase change.The preparation of microcapsules with myristyl alcohol as core material has many advantages:(1)There is a high enthalpy of phase transition of the myristyl alcohol(220 J/g).(2)The market price of myristyl alcohol is low.(3)The myristyl alcohol is a kind of environmentally friendly material.(4)The myristyl alcohol microcapsule can stabilize the myristyl alcohol,avoiding the external environment from oxidazing myristyl alcohol into other substances.(5)the phase change point of the myristyl alcohol is at a temperature of 37.8? and the normal temperature of the human body is maintained at 36~37?.The microcapsule can be prepared by using the characteristic that the myristyl alcohol phase change point of the human body is close to the normal temperature of the human body,and the utility model can be used to prepare the outdoor sports clothes.The phase change material is myristyl alcohol(MA)as the core material,polystyrene polystyrene(PS)as wall material.myristyl alcohol-polystyrene phase change energy storage microcapsules(MA/PS microcapsules)was synthesized by emulsion polymerization,investigating the effect of the core wall ratio,dispersant,emulsifier,initiator,stirring speed and crosslinking agent microcapsules.The differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FI-IR)and thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA)were used to detect and characterize them.The results show that the process of polyvinyl pyrrolidone K30(PVP-K30)amount is the mass fraction of myristyl alcohol 5%,emulsifier(Span80: Tween80=3: 13)amount is the mass fraction of myristyl alcohol 4%,two potassium sulfate(K2S2O8)was added for styrene monomer(SM)mass fraction 10%,pentaerythritol four acrylates(PETA)amount is styrene monomer(SM)mass fraction of 37.5%,core material and wall material ratio is 2.5:1,stirring speed is 1000r/min,which make the microcapsule be in best performance.MA/PS microcapsule is spherical,the average particle size of 3?m and the embedding rate of 73.72%.The melting enthalpy and crystallization enthalpy of MA/PS microcapsules were 162.1J/g and 124.85J/g,respectively.Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)shows that the prepared MA/PS microcapsules possessed good thermal stability and compactness.MA/PS microcapsule paste fabric was tested by Qmax test with different concentrations of MA/PS phase change energy storage microcapsules.The results show that the addition of the MA / PS microcapsules increases the Qmax of the fabric,allowing the fabric with the cold sensation,thereby giving the fabric a good cool effect.Therefore,MA / PS microcapsules finishing the fabric belong to the contact cold fabric.
