In the mining process of steep and extra-thick soft coal seam with horizontal slice mining,it is necessary to conduct a further research on the surrounding coal-rock movement law,because it is more complex under the occurrence conditions of the steep dip,extra-thickness and soft coal.The coal in Yimen coalfield belongs to steep and extra-thick soft coal seam.Taking working face of Yimen mine with horizontal slicing mining as the project background,this paper make a research on the surrounding coal-rock movement law in the mining process by the methods of similar material simulation and numerical analysis,which will attribute to conducting the production practices..The research results indicate that the research methods used in the paper is feasible.The method of horizontal slice was used to exploit steep and extra-thick soft coal seam in Yimen mine.Through the analysis of the variation of the stope surrounding rock stress,this paper reveals the distribution of abutment pressure in the area of the top and bottom of the exploitation space,and the changes of its distribution in the process of descending coal-mining.At the same time,the distribution of abutment pressure in the roof and floor strata was obtained in the same process.Through the analysis of the variation of the stope surrounding rock displacement,this paper reveals movement law of stope surrounding rock in the process of descending coal-mining.It is helpful for improving the support way and safety production level of coal mine to master these laws.Through the analysis of Top-coal caving experiment,the paper reveals broken form and movement law of top coal,and the form of residual form of triangle coal on the floor strata while the coal seam was exploited with the mining method of horizontal section top-coal caving.The research results above-mentioned in the paper has been clear about the distribution of abutment pressure in the area of the top and bottom of the exploitation space,the distribution of abutment pressure in the roof and floor strata,movement law of stope surrounding rock in the process of descending coal-mining,broken form and movement law of top coal,and the form of residual form of triangle coal on the floor strata in the mining process of Yimen mine.The research conclusions provide theoretical basis for the mining of steep and extra-thick soft coal seam in Yimen mine and similar mine,and also “Jiaceng building model method” designed in the paper,aiming at the building the material model of steep and extra-thick soft coal seam,can provide reference for similar research as well as the data processing method.
