In order to recycle the metal completely,reduce the cost of recycling and improve the utilization value of recycled metal resources,this paper mainly leach and recycle manganese,cobalt and nickel from electrode material of waste battery with biomass grapefruit peel,banana peel as the reducing agent in dilute in sulfuric acid medium.These jobs were carried out in this thesis,as follows.Chapter ?,introduced the present recycling situation of waste battery briefly,reviewed the recycling technologies and technology characteristics of waste mercury-free alkaline batteries and lithium ion battery,summarized the preparation technology of zinc manganese iron magnetic materials.Chapter ?,the biomass reductant pomelo peel powder was used for the leaching of manganese from alkaline battery.First selective leaching and separation of zinc in dilute sulphuric acid system was carried out,and then reduction leaching of manganese with pomelo peel as reducing agent in sulfuric acid system from the after zinc leaching residue was carried out.Under the best condition of selective leaching: leaching time in 3 min,sulfuric acid concentration at 1.0 mol·L-1,sulfuric acid amount n(H2SO4)/n(zinc)equal to 2 and temperature at 25 ?,the leaching rate of zinc was close to 100 % and manganese was 6.03%.Under the best condition of reduction leaching: time at 3.0 h,sulfuric acid concentration at 4 mol·L-1,sulfuric acid amount n(H2SO4)/n(Mn)equal to 8,the dosage of biomass reductant and raw material ratio at two-thirds and temperature at 60 ?,the leaching rate of manganese was 98.9 %.The feasibility of pomelo peel as a reducing agent was further analyzed by characterized the filtrate and filter residue of each stage experiment using X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Fourier transform infrared spectra(FT-IR).Chapter ?,zinc manganese magnetic materials(Mn0.6Zn0.4Fe2O4)was synthesized using the coprecipitation-hydrothermal synthesis method with the zinc and manganese filtrate as raw material from Chapter ?.The influence of precipitation temperature,hydrothermal temperature and hydrothermal time were discussed.The XRD and FT-IR had been used to characterize the structure of magnetic materials,the material morphology have been characterized by Scanning electron microscopy(SEM),the magnetic characterization detected by superconducting quantum interference device(SQUID).The magnetic capability parameters of synthesized materials respectively were magnetic saturation magnetization(Ms)68.132 emu/g,remanent magnetization(Mr)0.338 emu/g and coercive force(Hc)3.946 Oe.Chapter ?,the biomass reductant banana peel powder was used for the leaching of manganese,cobalt and nickel from lithium ion batteries.The study focuses on the cathode material of spent lithium ion battery,selective leaching of the aluminum in dilute sodium hydroxide solution to separate the electrode active material from the aluminum foil was carried out firstly,and then reduction leaching of manganese,cobalt and nickel with banana peel as reducing agent in sulfuric acid system from the electrode active material was carried out.In the process of experiment,we also established a method that couled be used for the simultaneous quantitative determination of cobalt,manganese and nickel by X-ray fluorescence spectrometer(XRF).
