Slurry is by-product in coal washing processing.The heat value about 12~21MJ/kg of slurry is higher than coal gangue,sludge,low ranks coal and other inferior fuel.The productive rate of slurry is 7%~14% of coal exploitation quantity.So,we should develop the technology of slurry upgrating.Taking slurry of Chuan Cao Ge Dan as the research object,reaserch from 3 aspects which are drying,pyrolysis,separation in order to inverstigate the upgrading characteristics of slurry.The main contents are as follows:1)The basic properties of slurry were reaserched from industrial,elemental,grain size,FTIR and x-ray diffraction analysis.The results show that total moisture and inner moisture of slurry are 28.74% and 3.71%.The main particle size is 0~75um,whose content is 60.98%.The slurry ash content is high which include plenty of Kaolin.2)To study the ideal and process drying characteristics of slurry,by non-isothermal and isothermal drying experiment.When the target water content is 15%.To determine the optimal temperature range is 180~200?,time range is 5-10 min,particle size is 8~10mm under the experimental condition.3)To study the pyrolysis characteristics of slurry under the isothermal and nonisothermal experiment and to analyse the function group structure of char by FTIR.The results show that: the violent reaction temperature range of pyrolysis is 400~600?,time range is 10~20min.Slurry pyrolysis violent reach the maximum when temperature is 450?.C-H,C=O function group removal as the form of volatile,which lead the characteristics of slurry to change.4)To optimize parameters based the washability of char,the results show that: Pyrolysis make the density difference of char improved.With the increase of pyrolysis temperature and time,the washability of char was improved.To determine the parameters of pyrolysis is 550?,20 min.5)To determine the upgrading process and estimating economic benefit.
