Because of excellent mechanical properties,processing performance and corrosion resistance austenitic stainless steel has generally used in high temperature,high pressure environment.310 S austenitic stainless steel is widely used in chemical,petroleum,aerospace and military industries due to its good high temperature oxidation resistance and high temperature creep strength.In this paper,310 S austenitic stainless steel wire with light pull state was selected.The room temperature rolling and high temperature oxidation were measured by mechanical performance test SEM,XRD,EDS and OM.The surface morphology,oxide thickness and oxide composition of the oxide film after high temperature oxidation were observed and analyzed.The main conclusions were as follows:With the increase of the pressure rate,the deformation degree and the tissue defect of the grain are also increased obviously.When the pressure down to a certain extent,most of the grain boundary becomes blurred,the grain is elongated as fibrous.Deformation-induced martensitic transformation was not found in the tissues under different degree of deformation.With the increase of the amount of rolling deformation,the microhardness and strength values of the stainless steel wire are increasing,but the elongation is decreasing.When the deformation is the same,the hardness value of the heart is always higher than the edge.At 700?,800?,and 900?,310 S austenitic stainless steel wire oxidation kinetic curve to follow the parabolic law;at 1000? and 1100?,oxidation kinetic curve to follow the logarithmic law;at 1150 ?,oxidation kinetic curve fluctuations,the reason are oxide film peeling and atomic diffusion.With the increase of the oxidation temperature and the oxidation time,the thickness of the oxide film increases,the morphology and phase of the oxide film change.When the oxidation temperature is 700?,800? and 900?,the oxide particles on the surface of the oxide film are mainly composed of oxides of Fe and Cr.When the oxidation temperature is 1000? and 1100?,the oxide particles on the surface of the oxide film are mainly composed of oxides of Fe.When the oxidation temperature is 1150?,the surface of the oxide film has Fe2O3,Cr2O3 and a small Fe3O4,NiFe2O4,NiCr2O4.When the oxidation temperature is between 700? and 1150?,the austenite grains in the matrix of 310 S austenitic stainless steel wire show the process of recovery,recrystallization and grain growth.In the two factors of oxidation temperature and holding time,the oxidation temperature is the main factor for the microstructure of 310 S austenitic stainless steel wire matrix.After anlysis oxidation kinetic curve,SEM,XRD,EDS and OM,the oxidation resistance of 310 S austenitic stainless steel wire at 900? is better.
