With the development of the oil exploration,the number of directional wells,horizontal wells and other special technologic wells is increasing,The difficulty of constructing is getting increscent,so the life and working condition adaptability of the screw drilling tools is more highly required.Due to the current level of manufacturing technology,the underground accident of screw drilling tools often occurred resulting to economic losses.The casing threaded connection failures and Lobe Type Couplings failure are common failure modes,and could easily lead to significant losses.Therefore,the analysis to screw drilling tools casing threaded and lobe type couplings is very important.This paper takes 5LZ172X7.0 screw drilling tools for example and studied the relationship between the mechanical properties and structure parameters.A fully parametric analysis program was established using APDL.And then a simulation of torque on threaded connection was made by an excessive amount of interference,thus solved the technical problem of imposing torque on threaded connections in simulation analysis.On this basis,this paper made a mechanical finite element analysis to the casing threaded connections.Then studied the Influence of the size parameters on the threaded connections strength,and proposed solutions to optimize the structure parameters.Then,this paper built 3D models of Lobe Type Couplings using three-dimensional modeling software.Analyzed the affection of the gap between lobes teeth and assembly space to the maximum rotation angle.In order to solve the problem of mutual slippage of Lobes during lowering and elevating the screw drilling tools.Finite element analysis was made to the Lobe Type Couplings under axial compression and torsion load combination.Analysed the affection of size parameters to the mechanical properties of the Lobe Type Couplings.And then determined a reasonable assembly tolerance of Lobe Type Couplings by the eccentricity...
