At present,water pollution is becoming more and more serious in China,organic content and types in water have increased year by year,it becomes urgent to control water pollution.Photocatalytic oxidation has been widely used in the field of organic wastewater treatment for its distinct advantages,such as mild reaction conditions,economical and practical process,completely degradation of organics to CO2,H2O,and other harmless compounds.In photocatalytic reaction,the decisive factor affecting the reaction is catalysts.photocatalyst modification technology can effectively enhance the performance of photocatalysis.Nowadays most photocatalyst modification methods are through control particle shape,crystal structure,band structure and some other factors to improve photocatalytic efficiency.Photosensitization is an effective method to modify catalyst.The main method is fixing the sensitizer to semiconductor surface to improve its photocatalytic properties.In this paper,according to the good stability and the possible enhancement of alkalinity under the photoresponse of pyridine,a series of organic ligands with certain conjugation length of pyridine derivatives were designed and synthesized and then supported on the surface of three commonly used catalysts TiO2,ZnO,Fe2O3,and their decomposition effect to dye wastewater was investigated.All catalysts were optimized through hydrothermal reaction conditions,and their structures were characterized by IR,UV,XRD,SEM,and their high activity and good stability have been demonstrated with the degradation of methyl orange wastewater.Study shows that the light response range of photocatalyst can be broadened by the designed pyridine skeleton sensitizers and so the performance of traditional photocatalysts improved.It has high instructive significance for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants.
