There are usually two ways for liquefied gas storage,one is high pressure storage and the other is cryogenic storage.But,no matter what kind of way,the liquid medium inside the tank is in a superheated state compared to the external environment.If the tank is mechanically damaged or exposed to the flame,this may lead to the explosive boiling process,or even lead to the boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion(BLEVE).And because of the frequent occurrence of such accidents and the serious disasters brought by this,the analysis of the evolution of its process has important practical significance.And BLEVE is essentially caused by the explosive boiling process of the superheated liquid when the liquid medium is quickly released,so it's of great value to analyze the explosive boiling process of superheated liquid under different initial conditions for the accident analysis and prevention.Therefore,these following research work were carried out:Firstly,a small experimental platform was designed,and we can use this to do the explosive boiling experiment.The device simulates the superheated liquid state by means of internal heating,and it can change different main devices to simulate different storage tanks.And the initial conditions of the devices can be changed,such as relief size,relief pressure and so on.Furthermore,the temperature,pressure and the motion of the medium can be monitored.Secondly,on the basis of the experimental platform,the experiment of the explosive boiling process was carried out by using water as the experimental medium.The characteristics of the two-phase flow under different pressure rebound modes were analyzed by comparing the pressure condition in the explosive boiling process.In the experiment,the basic rules of the explosive boiling process was explored by proposing three typical pressure bounce modes are proposedFurthermore,the explosive parameters of the pressure rebound intensity during the explosive boiling process were analyzed by changing the initial conditions,including vessel lengths,relief pressure,relief size and filling rate.The main conclusions are shown as follows: With the relief size increasing,the maximum intensity of the explosive boiling process appears at relief size of 56 mm,and the relief rate of medium shows an upward trend.When the relief pressure increases,the pressurization multiples and the relative percentage of pressure increases show an obvious upward trend,and the explosive boiling process is more intense.With the decrease of the filling rate,the intense of the explosive boiling process decreases significantly,and the pressure rebound intensity also shows a significant decline.And finally,for the experiment of the explosive boiling process of different vessel length,the experimental vessel with 560 mm length appeared more violent process in the same working condition.
