For the gold mine that is relatively thin,and low ore grade,there are large number of waste rock after exploiting,and the actual availability of resources is relatively small,which results in waste of resources and environmental pollution and other problems.Preselection is one of the most effective means of reducing the proportion of waste rock and improving the grade of ore.Currently,artificial sorting is selected as the first process in most mines,the waste rock will be picked out by the different color of the gold ore and the waste stone through artificial,to a certain extent,reducing the proportion of the waste rock which selected.However,due to the low efficiency of manual selection,the wrong rate of sorting,the limitedamount of waste rock,there are still a lot of waste rock into the follow-up process.Therefore,it is very urgent and practical to explore a method for rapid separation of gold ore on thin layer.The paper takes a gold mine in Henan as the research object,research on online selection method for gold ore.Through a variety of sorting methods of analysis and research,the paper has determined a method for the on-line selection of ore suitable for a gold mine in Henan Province.The main research results are:1.To study the identification methods of gold ore and waste rock.Visual identification method,the color of the gold and waste stone in a gold mine in Henan Province is classified,hese color features are analyzed by visual inspection methods,the results of the analysis for green waste rock and gold ore is not easy to distinguish.But the green waste rock in the mine accounts for a large amount of waste rock.Therefore,the use of visual inspection method for sorting,will cause a higher rate of misdiagnosis or low sorting rate and so on.Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy,the paper collect gold ore and waste water samples for chemical element analysis,see the content of the obviously different elements in the gold ore and waste rock as a selection feature.The feature elements were analyzed by laser induced breakdown spectroscopy,the gold ore and the waste rock are judged by selecting the appropriate spectral line from the spectrum,and with the different relative intensity of the feature elements which is calculated by the peak method.But the analysis results are unstable and easily affected by the uneven surface elements of the ore,the uneven surface of the ore and other factors,and the rate of misdiagnosis is high.Since the two methods are not suitable for the gold mine,it is necessary to explore more suitable for a gold ore in Henan on-line selection method.2.Study on X-ray Fluorescence Sorting Method.The characteristics of ore veins and ore characteristics were analyzed,so it has a certain understanding on the mine area of the ore,ore composition,etc.X-ray fluorescence analysis was used to analyze the gold and waste rocks in the mine,explore the changes of elemental content in gold ore and waste rock,the elements with significant differences in the content as a characteristic element.Using the basic parameters,single element analysis and other calculation methods,the characteristic elements were analyzed by X-ray fluorescence.According to analysis time,analysis accuracy and other factors,it identifies the final sorting feature element.The influencing factors of the X-ray fluorescence sorting method are analyzed,the relationship between X-ray fluorescence intensity and distance is calculated,this formula as a correction formula is incorporated into the processing software,the measurement error due to the change in the measurement distance is corrected.3.According to the characteristics of ore veins and ore characteristics,the appropriate selection process method is used.The X-ray fluorescence sorting experiment is carried out after building test bench.The results show that a large number of waste rocks were discarded at the ore pre-selection stage,ore grade increased by about 60%,and it has a great value in engineering applications.
