The coal gangue is mainly used in power generation,production of organic fertilizer,cement,road materials,etc.The main reason of the low utilization rate of coal gangue utilization is low added value,how to develop high value-added of coal gangue is the important way of reduce pollution to the environment.The study found that some coal gangue in xinjiang is rich in Nb,Zr,Er,Ga and other valuable elements.This paper aims to reveal the enrichment regularity and occurrence state of Nb,Zr,Er,Ga in the coal gangue.The researches will help to provide scientific basis for processing coal gangue being rich in Nb,Zr,Er,Ga and supply theoretical foundation for exploration of Nb,Zr,Er,Ga.Based on the mineral composition of simulation experimental research,the effects of collecting agent,metal ions,the kinds and dosage of inhibitor on the properties of pure minerals flotation have been researched.Results show that in the system of sodium oleate quartz,kaolinite and dolomite could be separated to a certain extent with conditions as follows: the sodium oleate concentration of 1.0 x10-3 mol/L,p H value of 4,oxalic acid as inhibitors of quartz and kaolinite,Al3+ as activator of quartz.The data of mineral separation is dolomite mineral 2.25 g,quartz mineral 2.30 g,kaolin minerals 1.71 g.The mechanism of mineral flotation has be explained by using the Zeta potential,uv-vis spectrophotometry,infrared spectrum and so on.We use magnetic separation,flotation and chemical dissolution to separate and enrich minerals in coal gangue.The results show that magnetic mineral separation of coal gangue have a certain relationship with grinding fineness and the magnetic induction intensity.The best conditions for Kai Yuan gangue is 62.10% of fineness and 10 t of magnetic induction intensity,for Tuscaloosa gangue is 70.90% of fineness and 8t of magnetic induction intensity.More free carbon in coal gangue could be removed by flotation in system of kerosene.which is helpful to flotation separation dolomite,quartz,kaolin.Researches show that dolomite,kaolin and quartz can be separated to some extent by using flotation,but the separation degree is not high.In this paper,some modern methods and technologies such as ICP-MS,SEM,XRD,EDS,Mapping and XPS have been supplied to research enrichment regularity and occurrence state of Nb,Zr,Er,Ga.The results show that Nb?Zr?Er?Ga are evenly dispersed in the minerals of coal gangue,so enrichment of mineral is not significant.The SEM shows that various mineral in coal gangue s are layered,all the morphology of minerals in the microscopic is similar.The EDS shows that Zr content is higher in coal gangue samples,and the Mapping shows that Zr is uniform distribution in the gangue minerals.Ga mainly exists in the form of elemental in minerals of coal gangue,and Er mainly exists in the form of oxide.
