With the rapid development of social economy,air pollution is becoming more and more serious,which is necessary to be concerned timely.The traditional methods of air pollution monitoring are chemical and physical monitoring.Although they are accurate,they still have some defects,such as the hardness for obtaining data,insufficient of monitoring range,and lack of timeliness.Thus,these methods are difficult to meet the needs of real-time air pollution monitoring,especially for the large research area.However,remote sensing technology can make up for these deficiencies.Remote sensing technology has become one of the most important means of atmospheric environmental monitoring because of its wide range of monitoring and good timeliness.Recently,with the development of computer technology and remote sensing technology,remote sensing technology has become an important issue in the field of environmental protection to carry out automatic processing,visualization and real-time monitoring of atmospheric pollution remote sensing data.At present,some researches based on the remote sensing monitoring of air pollution have a certain development.However,there are still some problems of integration,automatic,operational and visual air pollution remote sensing monitoring technology,such as poor automation,low efficiency,complicated operation,high technical threshold,and unsuitability of business operation.In present paper,based on component development model,a kind of visual remote sensing monitoring system of air pollution was designed,which is of highly automated,integrated,fully functional,and simplicity of operator relatively.Based on the secondary development of the domestic remote sensing image processing software,PIE?Pixel Information Expert,PIE?,and language of C#,a remote sensing dynamic monitoring prototype system for atmospheric pollution was designed by employing the quantitative monitoring and inversion algorithm for air pollutants.The remote sensing images as data sources from MODIS,OMI,MOPITT,VIRR and others.The system can automatically download the data of NO2,O3,SO2,CO,PM10,PM2.5,dust,fire point,fog and other air pollution indicators in the study area,and then,it works for automatic data preprocessing,visual display,monitoring,and analysis.Therefore,it can monitor the status of air pollution in real time and accurately,and provide technical and decision support for environmental monitoring department,environmental policy makers and ordinary people.
