Fluorescence imaging techniques have been extensively employed to develop noninvasive methodologies for tracking and understanding complex biological processes both in vitro and in vivo, which is of high importance in modern life-science research.Compared to other imaging modalities, fluorescence imaging offers high spatiotemporal resolution as a noninvasive technique. The core of fluorescence imaging is fluorescent materials. Therefore,a variety of fluorescent materials, high fluorescence intensity, good photostability, high sensitivity, high signal-to-noise ratio, low toxicity, etc, have been designed and synthesized. In this thesis,we mainly study the biological applications of organic dots based on conjugated semiconducting materials, including near infrared fluorescence materials,solid-state fluorescence materials and thermally activated delayed fluorescence materials.(1)A kind of material with D-A-D structure(TAT-DPP-TAT)was synthesized by several synthetic methods. On the one hand, many near-infrared fluorescent materials have good photothermal effect and the material is used for photothermal therapy. On the other hand,DPP has good effect in photodynamic therapy, and TAT-DPP-TAT has also been used in photodynamic therapy. Finally, the material is widely used.(2)In this chapter,we have designed and synthesized a kind of materials with strong fluorescence in solid state by changing the structure of the BODIPY materials, and the relationship between structure and properties of materials was studied by a series of characterization.(3)Several carbazole derivatives are synthesized by Cadogan reaction, and several kinds of thermally activated delayed fluorescence materials with D-A structure are synthesized by one step reaction.Through the study of the relationship between the structure and properties, the materials can be used in organic light-emitting diodes.
