The simple and almost perfect molecular structure of carbon nanotubes has resulted in excellent mechanical properties of carbon nanotubes,and has been increasingly used as a reinforcing phase in composite materials to enhance the mechanical properties of composites.The research on the properties of carbon nanotube composites is also increasing,and these results are key to our successful use of carbon nanotubes reinforced phase composites.In this paper,we try to establish the stiffness prediction model of carbon nanotubes coreinforced composite materials and characterize the process of damage evolution.The main experiments are as follows: simulation,theory and simulation.Because the difference between the size of the fiber and the carbon nanotubes in the composite material is too large: more than 1000 times,In this paper,we will see the material mixed with the carbon nanotubes and the matrix as another matrix,and then the carbon fiber is mixed into the fiber reinforced composite.Experiments were carried out on tensile,compressive and shear tests of carbon nanotubes with 0,0.2wt% and 0.5wt% carbon nanotubes combined with carbon nanotubes.And the mechanical parameters of the resin castings with different contents of carbon nanotubes were tested.The stiffness prediction model was established by finite element analysis software ABAQUS,and the stiffness of the theoretical model was compared with the experimental results.And using ABAQUS to characterize the material damage and damage evolution model.The puck criterion is used in the damage criterion of the progressive damage evolution model.The damage evolution model uses the exponential and linear combination damage evolution model to prepare the vumat subroutine to characterize the process of progressive damage.In this paper,the model of cabon fiber is T700SC-12000,epoxy resin is AG80,the viscosity of this epoxy resin is greater than other types of resin,so the process of mixing carbon nanotubes will be more difficult,but also because of the large viscosity,after curing the material,the higher stiffness,the greater the strength,the better the performance,the future application prospects are excellent.
