Oil is regarded as the main fuel for cars and other industries,it is critical to transport safely and economically.At the moment,the double metal composite pipe is the best means for the transmitting of oil.In order to improve the quality of composite large diameter double metal composite pipe,outer layer of carbon steel in foreign metal tube should be removed weld reinforcement before the composite.Based on a project of Automotive College of Chang'an University,according to which the device of the weld reinforcement grinding is designed in this paper.According to the requirement of subject and practical working condition,the automatic grinding device is designed by the paper which bases on a closed-loop control system of PLC,including primarily emery wheel grinding device,automatic feed adjustment device,technological experiments.First of all,the type of the drive motor and grinding way are selected,and the transmission and grinding method are designed,the constructional parameters of the mechanism are then analyzed and calculated to manufactured and prepared for field test.Experiment was analyzed by grinding processing to verify whether grinding mechanism will interfere with each other and work reliably,Experiment proves that mechanical interferences don't exist,grinding wheel and weld reinforcement can be adjusted with right relative position by the feeding device,circular linear speed of the grinding wheel can meet theoretical design requires,the levels of transmissions show satisfactory properties in stability,and mechanical deformation can is controlled in the error range.Secondly,the automatic feed device hard and software are designed and prepared,in this thesis hardware components consist of stepping motor driver,proximity sensor,PLC,touch screen,and establishment of corresponding parameters,and under the chosen hard gives the design flow chart and control programs,and achieve manual and automatic function of the automatic feed device.Through the simulation,The results prove that the design requirements can be satisfied by the PID variable gained through self-turning PID control algorithm.Meanwhile,after manual controller is completed,automatic program control can be accessed that based on the position of grinding device,and the disturbance induced by mechanical vibration can by overcome by the automatic feed device,and machining allowances of welds can be satisfied.Finally,according to motion parameters of grinding wheel,the grinding experiment is conducted by the experimental prototype,and the optimum parameters of grinding movement by contrasting quality of wiping out welded seam are obtained.The design requirement in the actual production can be satisfied by paper proved that the automatic grinding device.To meet the needs in reality,the processing technical process is made by the paper.
