Wire electrochemical machining(WECM),in which process a metallic wire is used as the cathode,is a new derivation of electrochemical machining(ECM),which is based on the principle of electrochemical anodic dissolution,and combines with the simple two dimensional plane motion.In view of the electrolytic product in electrochemical machining is difficult to discharge,single wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing is used,and the device is improved.In order to improve the machining efficiency,multi-wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing is proposed on the basis of single wire electrochemical machining.In this paper,the main content is as follows:(1)Based on the electrolytic anode electrochemical dissolution the basic principle of electrolytic has been introduced.Combining with several kinds of mass transfer in the electrochemical machining plan,wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing has been used.Respectively,the principle of single/multi-wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing have been introduced.(2)The Fluent software has been used for single wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing to analyze different liquid pressure on the influence of electrolyte flow velocity within the machining gap;As for multiple wire electrochemical machining,The Fluent software has been used to optimize the spacing between the wire electrode.(3)According to the requirement of the electrochemical machining system and combining the results of simulation,the devices of the single/multi wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing and the electrolyte circulating system of the wire electrochemical machining has been designed.(4)The 3mm thick TiAl alloy has been used to carry out the parameter test of single/multiple wire electrochemical machining with axial electrolyte flushing.In monofilament mainly analyzes different processing parameters on the slit width as well as the influence of the surface dispersive corrosion;in the multi wire processing analysis slit width and the standard deviation under different parameters.
