Horizontal split pump is a kind of transmission equipment which commonly used in petrochemical industry.The pump body play the part of diversion,pressure-bearing and energy conversion.Pump body in mechanical properties,corrosion resistance,stability,durability has a high demand when being used in poor environment.A type of horizontal split pump body is made with the material of the 00Cr25Ni6Mo2 N duplex stainless steel.Pump body has Poor formability and complex structure that lead to produce defects such as Shrinkage porosity easily.The casting qualified rate and the service life of the pump assembly are influenced.The project was based on the actual production.Two sets of technological scheme of sand casting were designed.And the digital models interrelated we-re made with UG NX software.Numerical simulations of two schemes were made by AnyCasting software system.The advantages and disadvantages of the two plansare compared in many aspects.And finally select the scheme of less potential defect.Then,modified the step gating system,intensified cast feeding system and perfected casting cooling system.Meanwhile,the optimal pouring parameters were determined.Finally,the smoothness and integrity of the filling process have been ensured and shrinkage defect has been further reduced.In this paper,the relationship between the properties of casting and the chemical composition of the alloy was studied with JMatPro material performance simulation software and optimization test method.Through the design of D-mixture and the calculation of linear equations,obtained the optimal furnace burden formula.And discussed the key points of smelting process.The numerical simulation results showed that the above scheme could meet the quality requirements of the product.Finally,according to the unadvanced metal phase ratio analysis method,used the MATLAB tools to create a simple operation and low cost method based on graphics processing technology.It greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of related work.In this paper,CAD/CAE software technology was widely used.It covers digital modeling,casting simulation,material performance simulation,experimental design,graphics processing and other fields,and have great value in modern engineering application.
