Compared with the ordinary carbon material,the magnetic carbon material also has the carbon material adsorption performance and magnetic properties,the magnetic carbon material can adsorb the adsorbent and quickly recover the adsorbate and the adsorbent under the magnetic field condition.So it is widely used in the field of environmental engineering,such as marine oil spill treatment and dye wastewater treatment and other fields.In recent years,a large number of scholars are keen on the synthesis of magnetic carbon materials,but most of the synthesis methods exist complex conditions,synthesis time is long,complex raw materials is expensive and may have potential threats to the environment and other shortcomings.Therefore,the objective of this paper is to use environmentally friendly precursors to rapidly synthesize magnetic carbon materials by a simple method and to apply them to adsorption for oil and dye contamination.In this study,sucrose and ferrous sulfate as raw materials,one-pot synthetic magnetic carbon submicron spheres by an aerosol spray.The properties of the materials were characterized by XRD,XPS,FTIR,VSM,Nitrogen adsorption-desorption,TGA,TEM,SEM and Water Contact Angle.The magnetic properties of the magnetic carbon material and carbon content can be controlled by temperature control and the maximum magneticity can reach 44.83 emu g-1.The material is submicron spherical structure with high hydrophobic and the hydrophobic angle can reach 152 ± 2 °.The material can be made hydrophilic by simple impregnation with a simple mixture of acetonitrile,ethanol and ammonia.After comparison,it is known that the magnetic carbon material prepared at 900? has the best properties and be used in oil recovery and dye removal.In the oil recovery,this paper uses gasoline,diesel and crude oil as oil spills.Due to the high hydrophobicity of the material,it can float on the surface of the water,easily adsorb the surface of the oil,and in the role of the magnetic field,easy to achieve oil and water separation.At the same time,the amount of oil absorbed in the seawater did not show a sharp drop relative to the oil absorption on the freshwater surface(the largest decline of 11.31%).This is beneficial to the application of the material to the real marine environment.In the adsorption and recovery of dye wastewater,this paper selected methyl orange as adsorbate.After the modified magnetic carbon material,in the methyl orange solution,can be quickly adsorbed to remove the methyl orange in the solution,and in the role of external magnetic field,easy to achieve separation of magnetic carbon materials and water.At the same time the material shows a good recycling performance,in the fifth re-use,the gasoline,diesel and crude oil and methyl orange adsorption capacity did not appear a rapid decline,the maximum decline is 25.81%,which is conducive to reducing processing costs.
