TA10 Titanium alloys corrosion resistance performance is excellent in high temperature,chloride solution and weakly reducing acid,sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid,so it is widely used in heat exchangers,reactor and distillation equipment.Forging is one of the main processing methods of titanium alloy structure.Under different forging process conditions,the microstructure and properties of forging are very different,so it is of great significance to the research of forging process.The TA10 titanium alloy ingots forged at different times of upsetting and stretching,and then annealing at 600 ?,650 ?,700 ?,750 ?.The effect of forging times and annealing temperature on microstructure,properties and fracture morphology were studied.The results show that at the same forging times,with the increase of the annealing temperature,the tensile strength and yield strength of the alloy decrease obviously and the elongation increases.At the same annealing temperature,with the increase of different times of upsetting and stretching,the tensile strength and yield strength of the alloy increase at first and then decrease,and elongation is slowly increase.The width of strip ? increases with the increase of annealing temperature.Meanwhile,the quasi-cleavage fracture disappears,and the numbers of dimples increase.Most of them are shear dimple.Widmanstaten structure appears and uniformity structure deteriorates when annealing temperature is high.The deformation process of equivalent stress and equivalent strain during different times process of upsetting and stretching was obtained by DEFORM-3D.The maximum value of the equivalent stress of TA10 titanium alloy was obtained after two times of upsetting.Dynamic recrystallization occurs during two times of stretching process,and the equivalent stress decrease.Work-hardening and dynamic recrystallization are balanced in the three times of upsetting and three times of stretching process and the equivalent stress change little.The equivalent stress maintain a high level after two time of upsetting and stretching,which verify the rationality of the two times of upsetting and stretching.At last,DEFORM-3D software was used to simulate the two times of upsetting and stretching of TA10 titanium alloy forged parts and reasonable process parameters were developed.
