In order to verify the feasibility of the atomized-sprayed coated liquid film-dried technology,the green body of the laminated WC/TiC ceramic cutting tool materials were fabricated by this method;the new type of the laminated WC/TiC ceramic cutting tool matrials was sucessfully fabricated by the vacuum hot-pressing sintering technology,and studied the influence of sintering temperature,holding time and Ni content on the mechanical properties,micromechanism,friction and wear properties of the ceramic cutting tool.According to the design principles of the laminated ceramic cutting tool materials,WC and TiC were determined as the matrix of each layer and Ni was detrmined as the metal phase;the wettability,the physical and chemical compatibility were analyzed.The green bodies of laminated WC/TiC ceramic cutting tool materials were fabricated by the atomized-sprayed coated liquid film-dried method;according to the experimental conditions of the experimental platform,vacuum hot pressing sintering was selected as the sintering method.At the same time,the mechanical properties of the relative density,hardness,bending strength,fracture toughness,micro morphology,frcation and wear properties was determined by comparative analysis.In order to study the influence of sintering temperature on the properties of ceramic tool materials,the laminated WC/TiC ceramic cuttng tool materials were fabricated at different sintering temperatures of 1600?,1650?,1700? and 1750?,and the relative density,Vickers hardness,bending strength,fracture toughness,micro morphology,friction and wear properties of the ceramic tool materials were tested.The results show that when the sintering temperature is 1650?,the combination property of the ceramic tool material is the best.In order to study the effect of holding time on the properties of ceramic tool materials,the laminated WC/TiC ceramic cuttng tool materials were fabricated at different holding time of 30 min,40min,50 min and 60 min,and the relative density,Vickers hardness,bending strength,fracture toughness,micro morphology,friction and wear properties of the ceramic tool materials were tested.The results show that when the holding time is 30 min,the combination property of the ceramic tool material is the best.In order to study the influence of the content of the metal phase on the properties of ceramic tool materials,the laminated WC/TiC ceramic cuttng tool materials were fabricated at different Ni content of 8%,10%,12% and 14%,and the relative density,Vickers hardness,bending strength,fracture toughness,micro morphology,friction and wear properties of the ceramic tool materials were tested.The results show that when the Ni content is 12%,the combination property of the ceramic tool material is the best.
