Wetland called the "kidney of the earth",is available to absorb and decompose the sediments and potentially harmful substances in the nature, and provides significant functions such as,climate regulation, water conservation, preventing water loss and soil erosion.Wetland ecosystem fragility has become an advanced research hotspot, and quantitative evaluation of wetland ecosystem fragility also has paid attention to researchers and government. Therefore,it is imperative to choose a rational and scientific evaluation method for wetland ecosystem fragility. This paper selecting Honghe Nation and Nature Reserve(HNNR)as a study area, established an evaluation indicator system of wetland fragility for the indicative species of Ciconia boyciana based on the pressure-state-response model.10 evaluation indicators were selected and weighted using the entropy weight method and expert scoring method, and the comprehensive evaluation method was utilized to quantify wetland fragility for HNNR.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Land use change in the HNNR had is neglectable from 1997 to 2013,and land use pattern in its surrounding area had significantly changed from marsh to paddy fields during the 16 years.(2)The entropy method and expert scoring method were used to evaluate the ecosystem fragility of the HNNR in 2005 and 2013,respectively.The results indicated that ecosystem environment conditions of HNNR had gradually improved from 2005 to 2013,and the breeding number of Ciconia boyciana also dramatically increased. This conclusion demonstrated that evaluation of wetland ecosystem fragility of HNNR based on the evaluation system of Ciconia boyciana is scientific and feasible.(3)Wetland fragility condition had gradually improved from 2005 to 2013,but there are some differences in space for fragility condition: from the perspective of functional areas, the variations from high to low followed by core area, buffer area and experimental area;from the perspective of habitat partition of Ciconia boyciana, the variations from high to low were artificial nest area, natural nesting site, foraging area, hidden area and other habitat area, emergency feeding area.
