Paint has an important position and role in our production and life,widely used in decoration,protection,signs and special features such as sterilization,flame retardant and so on.The research and application of coatings have an important role in promoting the development of the coatings industry.Polyurethane coating because of its own high hardness,good chemical resistance and high brightness,in the paint has an important position.It was also one of the hot direction of paint research recent years.The use of inorganic nanoparticles in coatings can be used to improve the performance of coatings.The use of cheap pigment wollastonite instead of rutile titanium dioxide as a coloring pigment,and to ensure that the coating performance is not reduced,can reduce the price of paint.In this paper,we based on the literature and the current research results of paint to develop experimental programs.In this paper,we studied the dispersibility of nano-zirconia in ethyl acetate,and modified KH570 and KH560 to improve the dispersion effect of nano-particles.And then used a different molecular weight of polypropylene glycol ppg1200,ppg1500,ppg2000 and HDI trimer for making of polyurethane coating,respectively.We changed the R ratio in order to obtain the most appropriate R value under each reagent conditions.At the same time,the polyurethane coating of hydroxyacrylic acid was studied.The nanometer zirconia ethyl acetate dispersion was added to its polyurethane,and its optimum amount was added.The wollastonite was partially substituted for titanium dioxide and added to the preceding hydroxyacrylic resin polyurethane varnish.Through the study of different substitutes,and finally find the most appropriate alternative.Compared to when all the use of titanium dioxide,it did not reduce the performance of paint performance,thereby reducing the cost of paint.The experimental results show that when we use ppg1200,R ratio of 1.4,the polypropylene glycol synthesis of polyurethane coating the best properties.The solvent content is 20%,to meet the requirements of low VOC.The preferred R value of the hydroxyacrylic resin polyurethane is 1.3.When we add 10% nano-zirconia ethyl acetate containing 4 ‰ KH570,we can improve the properties of the coating.We use wollastonite instead of rutile titanium dioxide ratio of 25%,with the sameperformance indicators to all the use of titanium dioxide paint.Made a wollastonite part of the alternative titanium dioxide hydroxy acrylic resin powder polyurethane coating.
