Super-hydrophobic surface had attracted much attention due to its particularly physical-chemical properties.Super-hydrophobic surfaces with contact angle more than 150°and sliding angle less than 10°.Typically,the super-hydrophobic surface could be owned via using low surface energy materials to construct micro/nano-structures directly or modifying the micro/nano-structures with low surface energy materials.In this paper the super-hydrophobic surface was obtained by using PFAS modifying the rough nickel-foam surfaces.Firstly,micro/nano-structure ZnO was successfully constructed on nickel-foam substrates through hydrothermal method to improve the roughness of the surface.Secondly,the rough surfaces were modified with PFAS by dipping method.Finally,the chemical and thermal properties of the super-hydrophobic surface were investigated.SEM?TEM?FT-IR?XRD and contact angle measurement were used to character the morphology and chemical composition of the surface.The experiment results were as follows:1)Preparation of ZnO micro/nano-structure on nickel-foam substrateHydrothermal method was used to grow ZnO micro/nano-structures on rough nickel-foam substrates,the chemical-physical properties of the substrates and experimental conditions were investigated as the factors during the process of fabricating ZnO micro/nano-structures.The hexagonal wurtzite ZnO micro/nano-structures,which were fabricated under the optimizing conditions,were porous after calcining at 400 ? for 2 h.The SEM pictures showed that porous ZnO micro/nano-structures with average pore size and distributed uniformly.The BET results showed that surface area was remarkably improved.2)Preparation of ZnO/nickel-foam super-hydrophobic materialsSuper-hydrophobic ZnO/nickel-foam was obtained by modifying the ZnO rough structures with PFAS by dipping method.Si-OR groups reacted with-OH on the hydrophilic surfaces to form a self-assembled film.The hydrophobic fluorinated chains were exposed outside to repel water.The super-hydrophobic surfaces,which were fabricated under the optimizing conditions,showed excellent chemical stability against strong acid,alkali and salt solutions.Meanwhile the thermal stability and hydrothermal stability were also tested.
