Additive Manufacturing technology is a kind of advanced manufacturing technology,hailed as "representative technology of the third industrial revolution".As the most advanced and the most potential technology,the metal additive manufacturing technology is an important development direction.Currently,selective laser melting is the most widely used technology in metallic-part material additive manufacturing technology.There are many factors affecting the quality of the parts produced with selective laser melting,and the interaction between these factors are very complex.In order to improve the forming quality and reduce the errors in the process design,a set of metal selective laser melting process database system is developed.Process experiments are carried out and collect the required data.This paper mainly finished the following contents:(1)Design of the database for metalllic-part selective laser melting process.According to the actual production demand,the function modules are designed.The overall design of the database system,the establishment of the process database system E-R model,and data tables are created according to the E-R model.The data tables are standardized to ensure the logical structure of the data and data integrity.(2)Process test and data collection.In order to improve the process database system and obtain the data processing program with good forming quality,the selective laser melting process has been carried out,the influence of process parameters on the forming quality of selective laser melting is analyzed.A number of available process parameters and data records for selective laser melting forming are obtained.(3)System software development and application.The appropriate development tools and development language are selected,according to the design requirements to complete the metal selective laser melting process database system development.Taking the process parameters collected in the selective laser melting process as an example,the realization of the main functions of the process database system is introduced.And the optimization of the process plan based on the analytic hierarchy process is applied.Use the optimized process plan the part that meet the requirements is formed.The function modules of the process database system are designed to ensure the function and stability of the system.The process data collection is more standardized and systematic,and the data storage is more convenient and comprehensive by using the process database.And the process database makes the process design become more scientific and reasonable.The technological parameters for forming thick structure are obtained by process test,the microhardness of forming products is 440HV and tensile strength is 919.7MPa,the elongation is 15.5%,the plastic and elastic modulus is larger.Applying the data collected in the process test,the parts forming test is carried out by using the database system,and the parts with good performance is obtained.The validity of the database system is verified.
