With the development of science and technology,iron and steel became a basic material in industrial production for its abundant resources,good performance and lower cost when compared to other new materials.Nowadays,quantity demand for steel in developed industries is growing every day.However,due to the great need,needed steel performance level has also been gradually improved.There are two ways to improve the performance for different directions,one is in large-scale and the other is miniaturization.Both of them are important trends of steel materials research.Both physical and chemical methods can be used to improve the performance.Grain refining is an indispensable way to enhance the performance of steel material.It not only can improve the strength but also does not decrease the toughness at the same time.By using this technology,we can save the cost by using some alloy constructional steel instead of the steel without strength weakened.By saving the alloy steel,the manufacturer not only saved the cost but also protect our environment.In this paper,the characteristics of high temperature forming of 20 steel,60 steel and two kinds of structural steels are studied by analysis and experiment.Through some deformation parameters,deformation temperature,variable,strain rate and other factors,the changes of temperature forming and tissue transformation are studied.The rules of the stress strain curve and the microstructure of the experimental materials were found to find out the differences in grain size.
