The thermoelectric material is a kind of functional material which can make use of the temperature difference of the environment to obtain the electric energy.The thermoelectric material can be combined with and fabric to make thermoelectric composite fabric,which can make use of the temperature difference between the human body and the air environment to achieve the continuous collection of electrical energy.Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)is considered to be one of the most potential macromolecule thermoelectric materials.The earlier research indicated that the addition of carbon nanomaterials in PEDOT:PSS can improve the thermoelectric properties.Carbon nanotube(CNTs)is a one-dimensional carbon material with unique structure and high conductivity.CNTs can be dispersed uniformly in PEDOT:PSS,which is combined with fabric as thermoelectric composite fabric.It is expected to be a key for flexible wearable energy devices.In this paper,CNTs was evenly distributed by PEDOT:PSS on fabric.With the change of PEDOT:PSS and CNTs content,the fiber material of the fabric,the structure of the fabric,the effects of the thermoelectric properties and the wearability on composite fabric materials were studied.The crystallization and surface morphology of the material were characterized by XRD and FE-SEM.The electrical conductivity,Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity were tested,and the ZT optimum value was calculated to study the thermoelectric performance.The moisture permeability,wrinkle resistance,stiffness and tensile properties were tested,to study the influence of wearability.The main results are as follows:(1)When the content of CNTs was fixed,with the increase of PEDOT:PSS content,the thermoelectric properties first increased and then slightly decreased.The moisture permeability increased slightly,but compared to the original moisture permeability of fabric decreased 5.71%;wrinkle recovery was better;and stiffness increased by 14.71%,stiffness were enhanced;tensile strength slightly decreased by 12.31%,but it had little effect on the wearability.When the content of PEDOT:PSS was fixed,with the increase of the content of CNTs,The thermoelectric performance was on the rise.Moisture permeability decreased,and the maximum moisture content decreased by 22.54%;immediate-elastic and delay-elastic wrinkle recovery enhanced by 22.88%and 37.93%,respectively,wrinkle recovery enhanced;the fabric stiffness increased by 14.38%;tensile property increased,but compared to the tensile property of original fabric declined by 2.5%.When the content of CNTs was 0.4%and PEDOT:PSS was 10%,the maximum ZT was best,the thermoelectric performance was best.(2)CNTs/PEDOT:PSS thermoelectric composite textile material with different fiber materials as substrate were prepared.Electrical conductivity:cotton fabric>polyester/cotton blended fabric>polyester fabric.The Seebeck coefficients were not so far different from each other.Thermal conductivity::cotton fabric>polyester/cotton blended fabric>polyester fabric,but the range of change was less than that of electrical conductivity.The result that the ZT value was increased,namely,the thermoelectric performance was increased.The thermoelectric properties with different fiber were compared:cotton fabric>polyester/cotton fabric>polyester fabric.When the content of PEDOT:PSS was 10%and the content of CNTs was 0.4%,the moisture permeabilities of the thermoelectric composite fabric with cotton fiber,polyester/cotton fiber and polyester fiber as the substrate decreased by 22.54%?18.95%?12.36%respectively;the immediate-elastic wrinkle recovery angles increased by 22.88%,18.94%,and 13.17%,respectively;delay-elastic wrinkle recovery angles increased by 17.82%?17.40%?12.08%,respectively;bending lengths increased 14%?12%?9%?respectivity;breaking strength decreased by 2.56%?2.36%?0.40%,respectivity;the degree of reduction of moisture permeabilities:cotton fabric>polyester/cotton blended fabric>polyester fabric;the Wrinkle recovery and stiffness increased,Degree of increase:cotton fabric>polyester/cotton blended fabric>polyester fabric.(3)Through the preparation of CNTs/PEDOT:PSS thermoelectric composite textile materials with different structure,electric conductivity,Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity of nonwoven fabric was better woven fabric,ZT value:nonwoven fabric>woven fabric.Therefore,the thermoelectric properties of the nonwoven fabric as the substrate was better.When the content of PEDOT:PSS was 10%and the content of CNTs was 0.4%,the moisture permeability of the composite decreased 11.89%;immediate-elastic and delay-elastic wrinkle recovery angles increased by 37.75%?42%,respectively;Stiffness increased by 83.58%;the breaking strength increased by 27.13%?The degree of reduction of moisture permeabilities:woven>nowoven;The Wrinkle recovery and stiffness increased,Degree of increase:nowoven>woven.The tensile property of nowoven increased,but that of woven decreased.The thermoelectric property based on nonwoven were better,but the fabric is too stiff.
