Glass beveling is one of methods in glass grinding processes.During the glass beveling,the existence of the sharp corner on the counter leads to the discontinues of the central monition trail of the beveling cutters and cracks of the glass,which would easily cause the overshoot of the tools and the overcut of the glass.Therefore,at present,the glass bevel grinding equipment on the domestic market mostly uses the method of artificial abrasion for the grinding of irregular bevel glass,and it difficult to realize automatic grinding.In addition,most of the grinding equipment structure design is simple,bevel grinding angle can achieve more limited and precision grinding is low.Due to the problems above,combing with the National Natural Science Foundation Project "glass grinding and polishing radial grinding force constraint adaptive control theory and method"(51405445),the paper conducts a research for the equipments and the control algorithm of the glass beveling.Including:(1)Research and design forward-looking control algorithm to transit the beveling trail of the sharp corner smoothly.(2)Research and design a new glass beveling equipment based on the recent glass beveling process and the current issue of the grinding equipment.First of all,analyzed the process of the glass beveling,the paper make a plan of the transition trail on the sharp corner for the frequent crack problems during the glass beveling;it also propose a forward-looking control algorithm for the beveling speed on the transit area of the sharp corner based on the superiority of velocity blending algorithm handling the connecting of micro-line blocks.According to the experiment verification,the algorithm controls the beveling to transit completement to the sharp corner in different angles,and to effectively ensure the smooth transition of the sharp corner during glass beveling.Secondly,analyze the main function request of glass beveling equipment from the process during beveling.Based on the analysis,research and design the mechanical composition of the glass beveling equipment,explain the realization principle of the device's key function construction,and design a whole machine beveling control process in system combining the products' specifications and beveling path.In addition,carry out the design and programming of the lower computer's controling system which is divided into two parts-hardware and software.For the hardware,integrally analyze the hardware system and function segementation,carry out the relevant model selection and configuration,and complete the circuit design of each function modules for the controlling system.For the software,carry out the PLC modularization programming for the cotroling system for controling process of the glass beveling.Finally,in allution to problems that the glass beveling equipment is currently in a low automation level and short of network data communication,a design of a real-time conversation system between users and devices based on cloud server and relevant pictures database is provided to realized devices remote controlling,condition monitoring and choosing outline pictures during glass processing.
