The assembly process is the key link of product assembly design.A good assembly process can improve the assembly working efficiency,shorten the cycle of product development,reduce manufacturing cost,improve product quality and reduce the occupied area of assembly process.Therefore,based on previous research results and combined with assembly model of the feeding system of 3D spinning machine,this paper conduct an in-depth study on the critical problems involved in the assembly process,such as assembly information modeling,assembly sequence,path planning,interference check.The purpose is to improve the efficiency and quality of assembly.The main work is as follows:Firstly,based on the UG platform,modeling method of the Bottom-Up and the hierarchical assembly is used to construct the feeding system of 3D spinning machine assembly model.At the same time,the re-develop way of creating parts library is studied.The advantages and disadvantages of representation methods of the commonly used assembly information model are analyzed and a hierarchical link assembly information modeling with tolerance information is constructed.Secondly,the advantages and disadvantages of several common methods of assembly sequence planning is analyzed,The algorithm flow chart to recognize the basic parts and sub assembly recognition is given.At the same time,with introducing the method of generating disassembly interference matrix,the paper catchs a detailed study of the feasible assembly sequence and establish the assembly sequence evaluation model in terms of the parts assembly operation convenience,times of the redirection,times of tool changing and so on.Application "three step" assembly sequence planning method analyze the spinning machine feeding system assembly.Furthermore,the basic principle,the implementation process and the standard model of the PSO algorithm is give,carried out the simulation analysis of the population size,inertia weight and learning factors and other parameters impact on the algorithm.The two-dimensional modeling of assembly environment is completed,the mathematical definition of path planning and path coding is give.Research on the assembly path planning method based on PSO algorithm,the initialization of the particle swarm method,fitness function design is give.The assembly path planning algorithm for different environmental models can correctly and effectively plan out a collision without obstacles and the optimal or sub optimal path with lower energy consumption is verified.At last,the principle of assembly simulation and interference check are analyzed.Based on the foundation of basic principle of how to describe the spatial position and operating parts in the assembly are researched,theory of assembly simulation modeling is completed.3 possible reasons which may cause interference during assembling are find out.The assembly simulation workflow is formulated.The method of static and dynamic interference check are analyzed in detail based on the UG platform.A method of interference detection based on ADMAS platform is researched,which can achieve the purpose of interference detection from time to time,and application instance analysis.Finally,based on the research above assembling video is generated and the result of simulation is exported,which provides a new mode of process instrument for workers.
