With the increasing emphasis on indoor air quality,various types of air purification technology has gradually emerged,intense pulsed light as a new type of purification technology has been proven to have good bactericidal effect.But at present,many domestic scholars use imported lamps or self-developed devices which are not commercialized,and use xenon lamp as a laser pump source,which limits the intense pulsed light devices as air purification technology to promote the application.Therefore,this paper provides a reference to the optimization of domestic equipment.In this paper,the effects of different voltage,capacitance,arc length of light source and time on the efficiency of radiation energy,formaldehyde degradation and sterilization efficiency were studied by using the experiment method.The radiation efficiency of intense pulsed light device increases with the increase of voltage and capacitance,and decreases with the increase of arc length.The proportion of radiation energy in the wavelength range from 240 nm to 360 nm required for formaldehyde degradation increases with the increases of voltage,decreases with the increases of arc length,decreases with the increases of capacitance by use of thinfilm capacitors.The use of film capacitors that the stability of the radiation efficiency is better than the use of electrolytic capacitors.With the use of time,radiation efficiency decreased gradually,and radiation energy ratio in wavelength range from 240 nm to 360 nm is also reduced so that this part of the radiation energy reduction greater.The efficiency of formaldehyde degradation by intense pulsed light device increases with the increase of radiation energy in the wavelength range from 240 nm to 360 nm,and the intense pulsed light device also has good bactericidal effect.However,with the increase of the time,the degradation rate of formaldehyde and sterilization efficiency were different.According to the experimental conclusion,the voltage,capacitance and arc length should be considered to choose the best match.Intense pulsed light devices can be considered different life limit for different pollutants.
