With the increase process of urbanization, microbial pollution in water is becoming more and more serious. The transport process of pathogenic microorganisms into water will further expand the pollution area, even causing regional pollution. And it brought a great threat to environmental protection and human health. This study investigated the microbial contamination about the Pearl River in Guangzhou section. The feasibility of indicating Bacteroides as indicator bacteria to indicate the pollution of microorganism in water body was showed.Escherichia coli and Bacteroides in the suspended solids were selected for studying the distribution characteristics of microbial in the process of transporting by water. And the effect of separation process on water quality of water body was further analyzed. The results of the study provided a scientific basis for the pollution control of the pathogenic microorganism of the mesoporous water transmission. The investigation of the microbial contamination of the Pearl River in Guangzhou showed that there were significant differences in various regions.Concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria were in 104 MPN/L~107 MPN/L;the Shahe Bay,the Shijing River and Jubei Bay were polluted seriously;the water quality of Xinzhou port,Fangcun Guangzhou bridge pier were relatively good.Further analysis showed that fecal indicator bacteria were positively correlated with total phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen, and negatively correlated with dissolved oxygen. The correlation between the traditional fecal indicator bacteria and the tracing microorganism Bacteroides was significant. It showed that Bacteroides can be indicator bacteria to indicate the pollution of microorganism in water body. And it can be used to judge the main source of pollution.Through simulating the transport process of Escherichia coli was,its distribution characteristics in the process were analyzed. The results indicated that the Escherichia coli was mainly existed as attachment state in the process of water transport, and the ratio was about 80.54%during the centrifuge separation process. There were some differences in the particle size distribution of Escherichia coli.During the static separation process, the dominant adsorption particle size was between 8μm~14μm,and the concentration ratio was about 42.28%.It was found that precipitation has a significant effect on the distribution of Escherichia coli on larger particles(>55 μm),and the decay of bacteria has a significant effect on the distribution of small particles(<8 μm)by comparing the ideal and the static separation process processes.Further analysis showed that the separation process of Escherichia coli has a significant influence on water quality of water body.It was revealed that the pathogenic microorganism can be removed in a certain extent through the separation process, thus improving the water quality of the water body. The results of the experiment on the ideal transport process of Bacteroides in aqueous showed that the presence of attachment was the dominant form, and the proportion was about 72.88%.During the static separation process process, the dominant particle size of Bacteroides was smaller than 9μm.It was showed that the distribution of Bacteroides was influenced by the precipitation and the decay of bacteria by comparing the ideal and the static separation processes.Further analysis showed that the separation process of Bacteroides has a significant influence on water quality of water body, which provided the scientific basis for the prevention and control of the contamination of the pathogenic microorganism in the process of water flowing.
