Today,antibacterial materials attracted much attention due to their potential in reducing or avoiding the harm from pathogenic microorganism.Polymer antibacterial agent has good performaces,such as good stability,high antibacterial activity and antibacterial timeliness,it have been an attractive field in the field of antibacterial material.In this study,we designed and synthesized a novel series of guanidine salt polymer antibacterial agent and a hyperbranched ammonium salt polymer antibacterial agent.Terminal modified hyperbranched polyamidoamine(PAMAM)III and polyether amine(T403)I by 1-(o-Tolyl)biguanide hydrochloride were prepared by a thermal condensation in one step,respectively.Antibacterial agent II was prepared by a thermal condensation of T403 with a guanidine salt.4-Chloromethyl styrene and dimethylamine propyl acrylamide(DMAPAA)were polymerized via atom transfer radical polymerization to produce a multi arms hyperbranched polymer(PVBC-DMAPAA).The structure of the synthesized compounds was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(~1HNMR).Then their thermal properties were studied on thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).It is found that the decomposition temperature of ?,?,?is 204.6?,210.2? and 202.1? when the heat loss was 3%.Bacteriostatic circle method was employed to evaluate the antibacterial activity for escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus of the three branched type guanidinium antibacterial agent.Minimum bacteriostatic concentration(MIC)of three branched guanidinium antibacterial agent for e.coli were I 24?g/mL,? 86?g/mL and ? 56?g/mL;for staphylococcus aureus I 23p,g/mL,?103?g/mL and III 44?g/mL.MIC of PVBC-DMAPAA for e.coli was 32 ?g/mL.?,? showed good antibacterial endurance,even 30 days later,they still remain the antibacterial activity.PVBC-DMAPAA modified PVDF membrane also showed good antibacterial activity in Bacteriostatic ring experiment.For PVDF membranes modified by PVBC-DMAPAA with mass fraction= 2%,4%,6%,the membrane flux increase 10L/(m~2.h),15L/(m~2.h),40L/(m~2.h),respectively.
