With the development of industrial civilization and progress of the times,people more and more focus on environmental pollution and safety of industrial producing.Emissions of waste gas has become a problem which cannot be ignored.The control of gas concentration in industrial production depend on instruments.So the function of gas sensor become more and more important.The most important elements of gas sensor is the choice of gas sensitive material.Zinc oxide as a kind of metal oxide semiconductor material in gas sensor material occupies very important position,on the market share ranking the first.There are a lot of ways to produce zinc oxide and the advantages of each way are different.In this article,the approach of producing zinc oxide nanofibers is electrospinning and investigation of its gas sensitive properties.Zinc oxide has a lot of disadvantages but as a gas sensitive material,it has extraordinary potential,and researchers need continual to improve its properties,such as morphology control,making composite materials,doping etc.And the improvement of sensor production way,this can also improve its performance.In this paper,a new way of producing devices,which is that zinc oxide nanofibers are attached to the ceramic tube directly,is used,to make nanofibers form a layer of nanofibers cloth on the ceramic tube to coated it.Then no longer add any material,and also don't do any operation to change the morphology,according to this method to make gas sensor,to improve the performance of the sensor.In this paper,specific work is as follows:(1)In the second chapter,silver doped zinc oxide nanofibers gas sensor are made according to a new way,Material is characterized by SEM,XRD and XPS?and its performance is tested.In order to do the contrast experiment,the gas sensors of the same material also are fabricated according to traditional way painting material.At the same time the pure zinc oxide nanofiber gas sensor also are produced depend on a new way.The results showed that the recovery time of silver doped nanofiber sensors made from new way had the advantage comparing with the traditional way,and it also have good response to low concentration of hydrogen sulfide.(2)In the third chapter,copper doped zinc oxide nanofibers gas sensor are made according to a new way,Material is characterized by SEM,XRD and XPS,and its performance is tested.In order to do the contrast experiment,the gas sensors of the same material also are fabricated according to traditional way painting material.The results show that the sensor made from new way reduce the response time and recovery time.
