With the rapidly development of industry,industry wastewater pollution raises more and more concern,especially for phenolic wastewater.Phenolic organics are stable and difficult to be degraded and three-dimensional electrode is one of effective methods for deal with phenolic wastewater.In this paper,Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC particle electrodes was made to treat phenol wastewater.The mainly content is as follows.The loading conditions of Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC particle electrodes and its electro-catalytic property were studied in this paper.The results showed when the molar ratio of Sn:Sb:Ce was 50:5:3 and the loading time was once,the electro-catalytic property could reach the best.The prepared SCG electrode was characterized by SEM-EDS,XRD,BET and XPS.The main influence factors for treatment of phenol wastewater was discussed.Removal of 88.93%and 84.2%for phenol and COD was obtained at the best condition of volume flow rate 0.15 L min-1,current density 25 mA/cm2,initial pH value 3,initial concentration 100mg/L,the temperature of reaction 25?.The optimum ACE and EC is 16.25%and 0.2474 KWh/gCOD.The comparison among Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC and AC/SnO2-Sb electrodes in phenol degradation indicated the Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC electrode showed good electro-catalytic property.The repeated experiment for degradation of phenol wastewater showed the stability and repeatability of the Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC particle electrode.The phenol wastewater was treated by two-dimensional electrode?GAC electrode and Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC electrode.The results indicated Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC had the best removal efficiency of phenol.The paper discussed the degradation mechanism of phenol through Sn-Sb-Ce/GAC particle electrode.According to HPLC analysis,intermediate products were determined and possible degradation pathway was proposed.
