Hydrogeochemical Characteristic Of Groundwater And Analysis And Evaluation Of Groundwater Quality In Taiyuan

The main source of water supply in Taiyuan is groundwater,but currently Taiyuan City's groundwater is facing a series of ecological and environmental problems such as water cut-off,ground subsidence,coal leakage,water pollution and so on.The pollution of groundwater not only limits the economic development of Taiyuan,but also affects the physical and mental health of local residents.Therefore,the evaluation of groundwater quality and pollution is imminent.In this paper,groundwater of Taiyuan is taken as the research object.Using the previous research data,the existing investigation data and the hydro-chemical test data,the water chemical characteristics,quality characteristics and pollution characteristics of shallow groundwater and deep groundwater are analyzed and evaluated comprehensively and systematically.The evaluation revealed the water quality characteristics of groundwater in Taiyuan,analyzed the causes of groundwater pollution in Taiyuan,and proposed pollution prevention and pollution control methods to provide scientific data basis for the development,utilization,and protection of groundwater in the area.This article mainly studies the following aspects:?1?Hydro-geology conditions such as groundwater type,water-bearing medium,groundwater compensation and drainage features in the study area.?2?Analyze the conventional water chemical indexes in shallow groundwater and deep groundwater,and use descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,ion proportional coefficient analysis,and Piper three-line graphic method to analyze the chemical characteristics of groundwater and explore the hydro-chemical characteristics and influencing factors of water.?3?Analyze the detection and over-characteristics of various indicators of groundwater chemistry,and evaluate the quality of groundwater.?4?Analyze the pollution characteristics of groundwater,find its corresponding pollution source,and put forward the pollution control measures.The results show that:The characteristics of on-site test parameters such as p H value,dissolved oxygen,electrical conductivity,and temperature in the study area were in line with drinking water standards.And the each parameter of shallow water is worse than that of deep water.The components of groundwater constants are HCO₃^-?Ca²⁺?SO₄^2-and Cl^-.And the groundwater total hardness and TDS contents are relatively high.The main type of shallow groundwater chemical is HCO₃-Ca,and that mainly composed rock and salt leaching and the ion source is related to human activities;the main types of deep groundwater chemistry are HCO₃·SO₄-Ca.That mainly associated with human activities.The index that has the greatest impact on water quality is total hardness.The most important pollution indicators are NO₃^-and NO₂^-,and the overall water quality is poor.The total hardness and pollutants mainly come from domestic sewage and industrial production effluent.There may be drainage pipe network leakage and poor garbage disposal in the study area.
