1.Pd(?)/bipyridine Catalyzed Conjugate Addition of Arylboronic Acids to ?,?-Unsaturated Acrylic Acid.We built and optimized Pd(?)/bipyridine catalyzed conjugate addition of arylboronic acids to ?,?-disubstituted acrylic acids,which provided a mild and convenient method for the highly challenging synthesis of ?-quaternary carbons substituted carboxylic acids.The catalyzed system was Pd(OAc)2/bpy,the solvents was H2 O and acetone,which is friendly to the environment.A series of arylboronic acids and ?,?-unsaturated carboxylic acids substrates were subjected to different conditions,excellent to quantitative yields were given.The identification of the compounds produced in reaction was characterized by 1H NMR,13 C NMR,IR,MS.2.Cobalt-Catalyzed Carbonylative Cyclization of Benzyl halide,Imine and Carbon Monoxide.The carbonylation,directly introduced carbonyl group into small organic molecular,is one of the frontier of environmental friendly chemistry,also is an important way to achieve such C1 utilization as carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide and other raw materials,and has very important significance for the development of the society.Based on the formal research,We successively realize carbonylative cyclization of benzyl halide,imine and carbon monoxide to produce highly steric beta-lactams in one pot and in one step,which is the backbone of some very important drug molecules.Various cobalt reagent,solvents and temperatures were screened and optimized,and all the starting materials,cobalt reagents were commercially available.The identification of the compounds produced in reaction was characterized by 1H NMR,13 C NMR,IR,MS.
