Design Research And Practice On Optical Art Style Jacquard Fabric Based On Structure Change

In order to develop the Optical(OP)art jacquard fabric,this paper analyses the composition and characteristics of OP art.Further an innovative design principles and methods of OP art style jacquard fabric based on structure change was put forward after combining digital jacquard design technique.Innovative design is conducted on two aspects,which are pattern and weave structure.Through the change design,the fabric weave which belong to the category of technology design is applied to design the characteristics of OP art style pattern,such as dot,line,face,and it breaks the boundary between technology and design.On the pattern design,the fabric weave elements design methods are put forward after analyzing and summarizing which fabric weave elements are apply to the structure change of OP art style jacquard fabric.And this paper summarizes the key points of application of fabric weave elements in different structure change of OP art style jacquard fabric.On the jacquard structure design,based on the texture effect of jacquard fabric,the paper study the structure of weft-backed and the structure of high flowers.And then presents the principles and methods of special high crepe effect structure change of OP art style jacquard fabric.The innovation point of the project is: this paper based on the principle and visual characteristics with dot,line,face of OP art,then design OP art style pattern with structure change.Further an innovative design methods of OP art style jacquard fabric based on structure change was formed after combining with the design method of jacquard design.Based on the design principles and methods of the research,this paper shows the feasibility of the technology and production of structure change of OP art style jacquard fabric.The fabric stereoscopic effect obtained by jacquard process is very novel,which is not to be imitated and replaced,and this is not to be achieved in the printed OP art style fabric.At the same time it provides a new train of thought for innovative design of OP art style jacquard fabric.
