With the oil resource storage in the water becaming less and the discovering resource in the sea becoming more,there is a trend that more and more people compete to build platform and exploit oil gas.Currently,we Chinese also make a great effort to mine the oil gas,especially in the South China Sea.One of the most important oil transferring equipment,riser is manufactured frequently and applied to the oil field.Flexible riser working as an important role in risers rises to fame by its high flexibility and high anti-corrosion property.The flexible riser becomes stronger when the mining depth becomes deeper.The assignment of the thesis is to carry out the configuration design and analysis work of a flexible riser,Including the hysteresis effect of bending stiffness,global static and dynamic response,the riser strength and the riser fatigue.1.Figure out the hysteresis bending stiffness using the Abaqus modeling method with clearance.2.Use analytical and numerical method to study the configuration of steep wave flexible riser and find out that the configuration,effective tension,curvature are almost the same for the two methods.3.Choose the parameters of the riser and carry out the sensitivity study of the chosen parameters.Then do the static analysis and check the static strength and draw some conclusions that when the degree of bend stiffener becomes smaller,the effective tension and curvature become larger;when the horizon distance of the riser becomes smaller,the effective tension becomes larger,the curvature in the middle of the riser becomes larger and the rest becomes smaller;when the connection stiffness becomes smaller,the curvature becomes smaller,the effective tension in the middle of the riser becomes largerand the rest becomes smaller.Meanwhile the static strength agree with the standard.4.Carry out the sensitivity study of the riser with slug flow and make a coMParison of whether being hysteresis or not,whether having slug flow or not,whether influencing by wind or not.We find out that the maximum effective tension and curvature of the riser which is hysteresis are larger than the one which is not hysteresis,the location of the maximum curvature is in the place of transverse.5.Do the fatigue analysis and find out that the fatigue life of the riser is too small,then do the optimizing from three points:the degree of the bend stiffener,the horizon distance and the connection stiffness of the riser.Finally the fatigue life meet the order.
