Water quality assessment is an analysis of environmental factor on a regional water environment,assessing it quantitatively.The purpose of the assessment is to clarify the law change and development of regional environmental quality,to provide the basis for pollution control planning and development of regional environmental systems engineering programs in the region's environmental systems.62 set of individual data in this paper through a department surveillance for 24 consecutive months,with the single factor and cluster analysis method to evaluate the quality of Yantai M Reservoir.Single factor method is quite commonly used in China,we can specifically see the index trends of each factor,while a larger number of cluster analysis sucked association classified as a class unified data analysis,the advantages of this method is that it is simple and straight forward.By combining the two methods,the analysis of water quality of the total nitrogen content of M exceeds the national surface water ? general criteria(?1mg/L).The data of M reservoir is huge and complete.Cluster analysis can take goo d advantage of these data to have quality analysis.Besides,in order to know theloca 1 and surrounding residents' safety awareness about M Reservoir water,we had a further analysis of M Reservoir water environment.We visited the cities of Yantai and conducted a survey by local residents,the survey results show that the residents know little about safety awareness of using water.In general,the total nitrogen content of M reservoir is much more than the standard,water safety aware ness of local residents should be strengthened.
