Microfluidic chip is a micron-level analysis and detection system.And the main structure is microchannel with the features of miniaturization,integration and portability.As a new experimental platform,microfluidic chip is a cross-disciplinary scientific research field.Microfluidic chip technology is derived from a widely developed microelectromechanical system.In recent years,the study on microfluidic chip has been developed rapidly and applied mainly in life science field.The idealization of laboratory miniaturization is realized by development of microfluidic chip.Now it is an important direction and frontier to promote the development of analytical instruments,and it runs from the laboratory to the practical application.In the current,the research with low-cost and high-volume manufacturing technologies is one of hot topics.The research status of microfluidic chip at home and abroad in recent years are summarized at the master thesis,and then the further systematical studies on processing technology and related experiment of microfluidic chip are performed based on results and deficiencies of previous research.CO2 laser processing technology with the advantages of low price,easy operation and high precision,which is one of the most wide laser processing,becomes one of the most popular processing ways of microfluidic chip.The mechanism and characteristics of laser generation are discussed,and the characteristics of CO2 laser production are described detailedly.The mathematical modeling analysis of temperature field are performed during laser cutting process,and then the temperature filed of laser processing polymer sheet is simulated by numerical simulation software.The polymer material as the most suitable for CO2 laser cutting microchannel,with its stable physical and chemical properties,has became an important material for fabricating microfluidic chip.Based on the results of previous research on CO2 laser processed polymer materials,the experiments on CO2 laser processing four different polymers including Polymethyl-methacrylate?PMMA?,Polycarbonate?PC?,Polystyene?PS?and Polyethylene Terephthalate?PET?are carried out.The influences of laser processing parameters on polymer microchannel profile are explored systematically using orthogonal experiments and comparative tests.Thermal bonding technology is the most important process during fabricated microfluidic chips.The difference of four different polymer material profiles after thermal bonding are studied at the same thermal bonding parameters,and 7-layer hybrid polymer microfluidic chip is fabricated.The new thermal bonding method is explored.The concentration gradient generator,which is one of the application filed of microfluidic chip,is studied systematically.By optimizing and improving microchannel,the solution mixing results of concentration gradient generators at the same chip size is increased.The research methods including simulation predicting experiment and experimental verification are achieved successfully.The research system including design,simulation,production,experiment,compared results of simulation and experiment is completed.These methods provide important idea for the future microfluidic chip research.
