The reinforcement theory and technology of rubber materials have always been one of the most important issues in the field of rubber science and engineering.Montmorillonite can improve many excellent properties of rubber effectively, and the strain-induced crystallization behavior can also improve the strength of rubber. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the tensile induced crystallization of crystalline rubber / montmorillonite nanocomposites. In this paper, crystalline rubber / montmorillonite nanocomposites were prepared by melt blending. The relationship between orientation and tensile induced crystallization of crystalline rubber montmorillonite nanocomposites and tensile ratio with montmorillonite content were studied. And the phase structure of crystalline rubber was characterized. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The filling of organic montmorillonite has improved the comprehensive mechanical properties of the crystalline rubber, and the intercalated structure of nanocomposite formed;(2)There is a similar rule among unsaturated non-polar rubber and unsaturated polar rubber: The stress-strain curve of composite material increases slowly under low strain. And the stress of the composite increases rapidly when the strain reaches a certain value. The stress-strain curve of the composite begins to be concave, and the tensile induced crystallization of the composite is concentrated at this time;(3)Under certain strain conditions, with the content of montmorillonite increase.the stress is also increase. With the strain increase, the filler in the composite gradually takes place in the direction of the tensile direction. And the greater of the deformation, the more obvious the orientation is.With the content of organic montmorillonite increase, the orientation of the composite material is ahead of time;(4)The stress-strain curves of butyl rubber nanocomposites are different from those of other composite materials. As the strain increases, the stress of nanocomposite increases. And the filler particles oriented with the strain increase. It is worth noting that under certain strain conditions, the stress ofnanocomposites decreases gradually, and the orientation of the composite material is delayed, the induced crystallization of the nanocomposites is delayed also.
