| Reservoir Architecture Analysis is one of the important theoretical tools,especially in the later process of development of oilfields,while the problems caused by heterogeneity of reservoir properties become more and more obvious,the need of reservoir characterization more and more intense.New methods of characterizing underground structure of reservoir are needed to solve those problems.The Ng63+4 braided river sedimentary reservoir in Gudong Oilfield is in the process of high water cut development,with a series of problem to deal with.Although researches of braided river reservoir start early,problems still remain to be solved.Combining cores,well log and production data,an architecture analysis of the reservoir was made concerning sedimentary type,architecture elements and boundaries and decomposition of the reservoir architecture.Multi-point statistics methods were applied to build the geocellular model,along with Object-based methods and deterministic methods.It was concluded that the sedimentary type of the reservoir was deep,perennial sand-bed braided river.Four periods,16 single channels were recognized.6 to 12 braided river bars on average were described in each channel,the dimension of which was 300 to 600 meters in length,and 200 to 400 meters in width.Interlayer mud was horizontal,with dimension of a few meters to tens of meters.The spatial distribution of the reservoir properties were described using synthetically modeling methods.The main controlling factors consisted transfusion barriers,gravity and different flow segments.The remaining oil distributed in the side and top of single architecture elements,and architecture elements with poor properties. |
